John, thanks for being an early adopter and giving us so much information about this
camera.
I'm wondering if there is a "Lubitel" equivalent for this Chinese Sputnik.
As anyone who has seen my folio submissions can attest, I enjoy taking slightly hyper
images in cities. I also like to take wider hypers when appropriate. It would be great if I
didn't have to carry an extra pair of cameras just for hyper shooting. Currently I bring a
pair of YashicaMats with me on trips, often in addition to a Sputnik. (This doesn't leave
much room in my luggage for clothes.)
I'm curious if there's a conventional 2D MF camera that has similar optics to the TL 120
and could be used as a "third lens" for hyper shots. Do the Seagull TLRs use the same
lenses? I'm not so concerned about matching shutter speeds, as I usually do these sort of
shots with the "bulb" setting at twilight, which also eliminates concerns about shutter
synchronization.
