Last week, I took delivery of a new edition
of the TL120-1. This has a smoother finish
and much larger hand grips on it than my
earlier unit.

My earlier version is visible at:

my current version is like:

The larger hand-grip is a *huge* improvement
in ergonomics. The flash-sync speed is still
marked at 1/30.

I haven't yet tested the flash sync on this
camera to see if it behaves the same as my
original unit.

My first two rolls of film go off to A&I tomorrow.
Unfortunately, they seem to require 10-14 days
to get it back to me. I'll report on the image
results as soon as I have any.

I haven't yet performed the prism focus test
Sam requested. I won't have sufficient sunlight,
objects at infinity and the camera all in the
same place until the weekend. I'll report
just as soon as I can.

3D World did include an extra battery cover
with this camera. It is still the cheapest
part of the camera but at least I now have
a spare.

Fwiw, I don't own two TL120s. The earlier
version has gone back to China.

Interesting... How does that work out? Is Stereo World using you as a Beta
Tester? How can you buy a camera, use it, and then return it to get another
(newer model)? Just curious....

I have ordered 5 cameras, and I am told they will be delivered in 2 weeks.
I have 2 confirmed buyers, plus I keep one for myself. I still need two
buyers. Email me with details, if interested.

Thank you,

I communicated with 3D-World regarding a
defect in my camera (this is also documented
in my web pages). The exchange was their solution.

No, George. I'm a paying customer of 3D World.
I bought and paid for my camera like yourself
and others here.

As described above. The camera had a problem.
3D World offered to exchange the camera.
They sent me the newer version (with the
larger hand-grip).
