And now for something completely different:

eBay 300050085897

At $20,000, I think I'll make my Spud waterproof!

$23,000 actually, if you do not want to wait until the auction is over :)

Talking about Sputniks, I have a nice one in ebay right now:

This actually belongs to a member of this list... :)

Auction started at $0.01 and has no bids.

A lot of trouble just to get rid of a few light leaks! hehe

Maybe they need cash to waterproof a TL120.

Hmmm. Enjoyed seeing pix of that beast. From the scale of it, looks
like it might be good to 1000 feet. No worry about light leaks down
there since there isn't any (light). But a long way back up to the
surface to change film after 10 shots ;-)

FWIW I built an underwater housing for a P200 twin, designed to be good
to 100 feet or so and not very hard to build (not tested yet,
however). I wonder what it, or a version for the T-120, would sell for
on ebay :-)

I get only 6 shots on my sputnik . . 'course that's not
counting double exposures!

With a housing like this, it shouldn't be too hard to make
the Spud run on 220 film. You won't be advancing by
red-window anyway, so fit a shim on the pressure plate and
bob's your uncle :)
