That might have been me in response to an question in my ebay auction. I
assumed that there was no window built into the camera but after seeing
John's stereopair, I can see that there is a very clear window.

Why do you say that every stereo camera has a built-in window? If the
window is at infinity, then there is no stereo window. My RBT S1 and all
75mm SLR RBT cameras do not have a built-in window.

Whether or not the window is at 3 feet or infinity, it is still a
window. Most are around 6-8 feet, so 3 feet is a little unusual. My
initial conversation with 3DWorld in the winter, the stereo window was
to be further back, like 6 feet. This was based on the camera
expecting to have 63.5mm spacing between the lens, and 65mm spacing at
the film. In my measuring of the current camera, I get 63.5 and 67.

I lost my formula for window placement. Can Mike or somebody confirm
this mathematically?
