Provia 100F does seem to be the closest thing to an all purpose film for MF3D. I always
push it one stop, it handles pushes very well and this lets you use a smaller aperture which
is usually desirable given depth of field issues. I like shooting cities at night, and I find
Provia has a bit of a greenish cast for this sort of thing. I've recently started using Kodak
E100GX for night shots. This a warm saturated film that looks a lot different from Provia.
Now that I have a camera that can take screw in filters I might try using a warming filter
with Provia.

I use Ilford PanF 50 to take black and white slides which I have processed at DR5. They
suggest rating this film at ISO30 for this purpose. It's expensive (over $18.00 per roll)
and worth it.

If you're looking for a Burdlo I'd suggest posting a "Want to Buy" announcement on the Sell
3D list. I would imagine there's someone out there who has switched to digital shooting
and would be happy to part with one.

I agree with the consensus that Provia 100 is a great all-purpose slide
film, although most of my experience is with 35mm. I also agree that it
"pushes" well, 1 or 2 stops. If you use A&I mailers for processing (I buy
mine from B&H) they only charge $1 additional per stop for push processing
E-6 films. -Linda
