Has anyone from countries other than the USA purchased one of the 3D
World coin operated drum viewers? If you have, can you tell me if you
received it with a power plug to suit your country? As an Australian,
3D World seem reluctant to send me a unit fitted with an appropriate
Australian power plug. Because the power plug is also the transformer
or adaptor, it cannot easily be changed to a local plug.

Just as a follow up to my previous question regarding power plugs on
the rotating drum viewers, has everyone who has purchased a camera
received their mounting jig with a power plug applicable to their
country or are they all being sent out with USA plugs?

Well yes. It fit perfectly :)

Oh. Maybe that's why mine fit :(

I figured the whole reason it was being shipped
with that bogus wall-wart was so it would be
easy to insert the correct power source for each
country. It sounds like the Americans are the
only fortunate ones here. Sigh.

Yes, you'd think it would be easy to insert the right power plug for
each country. I'd like to get 3D World to do something about it but
they haven't replied to me for over 3 weeks now.

Are there any others out there with the same problem as me? Europeans
maybe?

Love to hear from you. Feel free to contact me offlist.

The only thing I can tell you is that there was a working model at
last year's photokina in Cologne. I do not know what watts and volts
they use in China, but they did seem to be able to modify their
showcase model accordingly.
