OT, but Patrick, why is your site soliton.map and your e-name
solitonbeat? I used to research solitons in geophysical fluid
dynamics. Just curious,

Thanks, John

Before I discovered stereo photography I produced electronic music and
released 2 albums by the name of Soliton. My main web site is
www.solitonbeat.com but the more I learned about 3D imagery the more I
needed web space to share the product of my new passion. So the company I
work for (www.korem.com) offered me some free space on their server but I
ended up with my name (soliton) .map-logix.com (Map-logix is a plugin for
MapInfo Professional). I never studied soliton waves (hydraulic or
photonic) but an astrophysician friend of mine told me about it and I found
it quite interesting.

Someday Ill have to get a proper web site for my photography. Until then
Soliton remains!

I don't see any difference between the shots using the round
hoods and those using the square hoods.

Do you see any differences on the film?

I can't see any differences on film.

Now that I think of it, I should have put the camera on tripod to get the
exact same picture on each shot. Anyway, I think that every TL-120 owner
should think about getting a pair whatever their shape and at 5 bucks each,
3D World should provide them with the camera!
