I am essentially sending this out again since there haven't been any replies to my earlier one (it might have gotten buried in all the recent Folio and NSA posts):

Can anyone give specs/dimensions on the viewfinder below (particularly the base dimensions)?   I'm interested in determining if it can be adapted to work on an old Voigtlander Stereflectoscop if I can figure out how to attach it properly.
(I may have clearance issues to mount a finder but at least want to be sure in case someone has done something creative).

Patrick - How does it attach to the TL120 (or any other camera)? - does it slide or hinge into a bracket?  What kind of focusing screen does it require?  Are you using the one that came with the camera or something else ?

Any other suggestions regarding focal plane, mounting, etc. would be greatly appreciated (as would comments from anyone else who has tried to adapt this or a hasselblad finder to an old camera that might have clearance issues.

Thanks!

Hi John,

Welcome to the group!
Thanks for sending the link. It looks like the prism finders could work on
the TL120 MF 3D camera. Does anyone have experience with the quality of
their products? The prices look good. But the shipping is expensive.

Matt

Hi Bob,

This finder slides into a bracket and it use the camera focusing screen. I don't have it with me right now to mesure it but I'll shoot some pictures tonight to give you a better look at it.

I was surprised, to read, that Bob is interested
in puting a prism housing on his stereo camera,
as I doubt that it will be able to,improve the
mediocre image built into his stereo camera.

Best regards,

I thought it was worth a try, not so much to improve the quality of the finder image, but to allow me to at least see it outdoors!
Turns out the finder won't fit the camera - it is too big.
Don - anything more about your finder ?
