Subject: making slide dupes?

Hi All

When i show my 3D slides in public spaces with the 'Geometric Primitive', i
only use duplicates that have been run off from scans or direct analog.

I do plan on creating something to show the MF slides in and I need a way to
dupe them.

What do people use or do? Any labs?

A kludge would be to scan, print out and then do a copy shot.

The best quality dupes I know of are those done "in camera". I
usually take a couple of shots of everything, knowing that I will
probably need a copy at some stage.

I had a feeling that might be the case.

When shooting posed or set up images I can do that but i have a tendancy to
jump into chaotic environments.

later this year I'll be doing bonfire night in Lewes with it and no chance to do
2nd shots.

here's some I did with the realist: http://www.alchemicalshadows.com/port_3d/

Although this is a fine way to share images with a small group, if
you're looking to make a large # of dupes, this obviously won't work.
The only film I'm aware of designed for transparency "dupes" is Kodak
Vision, which is available in a 65mm form. I don't think it would be
an insurmountable task to load 65mm film into a camera made for 120
film, but I don't know how the dupes would be made afterward.
Does anyone know how 3D Stereo produces their duplicated images?
Thanks,
Steve

Last year, when I visited 3D World in China, I briefly entered the small room where the do their dupes. All I can say is it looked like a standard (35mm) slide duplicator. No camera was involved for sure.
