Hi Everybody,

I just got back from visiting Don Lopp Highline Medical Center.
Apparently he had some cardiac incident the other night, and was
whisked away to the hospital. The plan was to perform an angioplasty,
but that plan has now changed to bypass surgery. He is supposed to be
moved to a different hospital tomorrow, and my understanding is the
surgery would take place Friday or Saturday.

Don was in great spirits. He did his usual political venting, and we
did a lot of laughing.

I will provide an update after Don is moved and I get more specific
info on the procedure.

In the meantime, I would encourage any friends of Don to send him
notes and cards. If you send them to his home address, his wife can
deliver them. I'll update the hospital address, and how long he's
expected to stay, as I get that info. Don's home address is:

Don Lopp
20814 8th Ave S
Des Moines, WA 98198

Thanks. If you know Don, I'm sure he would enjoy hearing from you.

Don Lopp has been admitted to Swedish Hospital's Cherry Hill Campus in Seattle. The name of the hospital recently changed from Providence to Swedish/Cherry Hill, so if anyone mentions Providence, it's the same facility.

Swedish Hospital / Cherry Hill
500 - 17th Avenue
Seattle, WA  98122-5711

Don is in Room 408.

phone # to connect with patients
206.320.2444

and Swedish has an option to print messages sent by email and deliver them to patients. It would be great to see Don flooded with nice wishes.

For purposes of the email form, the campus is Cherry Hill (Providence), and the room is 408.

Many thanks those who've already contacted Don.

Thanks,
Bob Venezia

I couldn't think of a person more worthy of a little pick-me-up. Don's
contribution to MF3D is without parallel. All that have been touched
by his outstanding images and generous heart, please take a minute to
cheer him on.

Yey Don!

Sam
