Subject: Slide bar for MF cameras?

Hi

Any recommendations for one? Something that can do hyperstereo too.

The Sputnik is OK for in situ shots but for something fixed in a studio or on
location I'd rather use my Kiev88 and a choice of lenses.

Cheers

How hyper do you want to go?

Bogen sells a couple of adapter plates that can be used as slide bars.

The Bogen/Manfrotto 3273 has a range of about 3-1/4 inches. You slide
it back and forth and then clamp it down. It has a spring loaded
catch to prevent the plate from sliding off the adapter accidentally.
You can get additional Bogen 3272 plates if you want to keep a plate
on each camera.

The Bogen/Manfrotto 454 Micro Positioning Plate has a range of about
4.7 inches. It is adjusted by a thumb screw.
