3D World is sending me a stock of shades. They are also sending the
protection boards for the viewfinder which old cameras don't have either.

They are sending that stuff for free with my next order. I will happy to
mail them to anyone who needs them for a small S&H fee ($5 USA I was
thinking).

There is no need to contact me. I will let you know when the stuff arrives,
with the exact details.

I think the "protection board for the viewfinder" (I copied this exactly
from their email) is the Chinese translation for the "rubber eyecap" that
comes with the new camera :)

In the images on your eBay auction (320158648078) is a flat plate (bottom
center, just below the batteries) that is just the right size to cover
the viewfinder glass when the prism is removed. I really think that is
what they are talking about and something I would really like as I carry
the camera with the prism removed to avoid damage from that top heavy
piece.

Ahhh, that makes sense. Thank you DrDave!

When I get my stock, I will let you know.
