My 3D shooting has thus far been restricted to 35mm. MF 3D has a
strong appeal to me because of the fine grain one gets from a large
piece of film. That leads me to a question. Since the larger format
allows one to use faster film without a grain penalty but requires one
to stop down more for the same DOF, which of these traits wins out? In
other words, would I be able to get superior results vs. 35mm if I
were to shoot fast enough film to nullify the reduced light intake for
a given DOF?
