Hello, here's a newbie question. Am I right that it is not possible to
use a contact print of a stereo pair taken with a sputnik as a Holmes
stereo card? The fact that the film spools from right to left seems to
have this effect, or has it not? This should surely not be the case
with the Chinese camera, or is it?

This is a feature of all stereo cameras. You must transpose
your left and right images during mounting (for slides) or
printing (for cards).

If you have the full Sputnik "kit", it came with at
transposing frame for creating contact prints from your
film. If you don't, they appear on e-bay from time to time.
