Subject: Folding viewers

Now that the matter of folding viewers has come up, people who are
looking for cheap ones to give away or so might be interested in the
lite (as in "not heavy", not as in "not dark") viewer distributed by
www.loreo.com. I have already ordered from them a couple of times,
their service is fast, and the viewers are quite good, actually. Well,
depending on what one expects, that is. (I searched this forum and
this type of viewer seems not to have been mentioned that often.)

The Euro being so strong at the moment I am more than ever thinking
about getting one of those Chinese stereo cameras you all go on about.
It is only that I am a bit of a faintheart when it comes to
warrenties, big sums, import taxes, etc.
Could some of you please mention again and again that the camera is
really worth its price?! Thanks,
Andreas/Germany

I forgot to mention: this viewer works for Holmes style prints only.

Crikey, the 3D World camera I would buy at 3 times the price once I saw
how good the results were. This camera gives the "Rolls Royce" of
stereo views, no debate about it, IMHO. I'm buying a second one to
mount wide angle lenses on or to use for hypers. Peter

I agree with Peter in that the Tl-120 is the sharpest stereo camera I
own. The lenses are nearly as sharp as my friend's Hasselblad 503cw;
we've taken pictures of the same subject(s) and have compared.

Here's one shot with the 3-D World Tl-120 (parallel & cross-eye):

Here's another with my friend's Hasselblad 503cw:

I too recommend the Tl-120, and for what it is the price is quite fair.

Jason, Great photos. I had to find out what a Tsankawi was and
noticed your anaglyph photo on Wikipedia.

Thanks a lot for your encouraging words and the great photos! However,
I just learned that I would have to pay another $339 import sales tax
here in Germany, and that is quite a discouraging thought. I need to
give it some more consideration.
Thanks!
Andreas
