Subject: MF E-6 processingDate: 2008-03-31 20:44:41From: Chuck Holzner
I received 4 rolls of 120 slide film back from the processor today. I had
mailed it off a week and a half ago. (Takes the mail 4 days each way to
Denver from here in Virginia.) I have mounted 3 rolls tonight. No hanging
my 120 film any more, it comes back flat. This batch came sleeved and cut
into two image sections and packed flat; storable and mountable as they
come. (Sometimes they send them back cut in 3 image sections but it is not
hard for me to match them up.)
I started using this processor on my way back from NSA in Boise (July) and
have sent them over a dozen rolls. No problems so far, no lost or damaged
film and the processing looks great.
They are the only processor that I know that pays the postage BOTH ways.
The cost is $4.50 per 120 film roll. The only hang-up is that they have a
minimum order of $10 for procressing. That means:
1 roll = $10.00 $10 per roll.
2 rolls = $10.00 $ 5 per roll
3 rolls = $13.50 $ 4.50 per roll
4 rolls = $18.00 $ 4.50 per roll
And so on @ $4.50 per roll. That is total cost including mailing both ways.
Their 35mm processing is not so cheap.
They also do push or pull precessing for an additional $2 per roll.
If interested their site is on the web: www.theslideprinter.com
Ask for a shipping envolope and price list.
They do a lot of digital processing too but who cares. %^)
If you insist on your film being rolled and folded don't bother.
