Those two rolls of film from Denver Digital were the test
rolls from my TL120 equipped with Mamiya 55mm lenses.

I need to dig out my notes and see exactly how I shot each
image, but I couldn't wait and mounted a pair from each roll.
The lenses seem no worse matched than the stock 80mm lenses
and I can't complain about the sharpness or the aperture match.

I hope to actually get a loupe on the images in the next
couple of days but I expect to be pleased with what I will see :)

I have not seen anyone else say or imply that the lenses on their stock
TL120 are not well matched. I assume you mean in Focal Length. I wonder if
this is common and just how mismatched are they? Any comments from other
TL120 users?

I can say that I am amazed at the perfect match in my own TL120
lenses, especially after my old Sputnik which had a badly matched
pair of lenses. I can also say that they appear consistent in
matching other TL120s after having a quick hyper shoot with Peter
Thomson. His TL120 is a later model than mine but the resulting
hypers were exceptionally well matched.

I worded my earlier statement the way I did simply because I
haven't done any objective measurements of my stock TL120 lenses.

With that said, I have a hunch that the lenses on my newer
TL120 may be slightly less well-matched than the lenses on my
original (which seem to be a perfect match). As I was
mounting some images last weekend, I thought I noticed a
difference in magnification between the left and right
images. But then I couldn't be sure which camera I had been
using when I produced the image. I also couldn't be sure that
was I was noticing wasn't being caused by a slight rotational
error.
