3D World sent me a set of pictures of their new focsuing viewer. I
have uploaded them to the Photos section.

Thanks Francois. This helps me visualize what has been described.

Personally, I think a rotating knob rather than a lever is more appropriate for focusing because (for myself), the use of two fingers allows me more precision. I am always nudging levers ever so slightly to adjust to my satisfaction,

An on/off button seems okay. I'd prefer a temporary on/off simply because of battery life but I may have been spoiled by the Realist viewer ;-) Old habits die slowly.

Thanks again,

You can (or perhaps should) use both fingers to adjust the levers (there
are levers in both sides). But the adjustment is rather coarse.

Actually, it is a momentary switch, not an on/off switch.

You answered my question before I could ask it ! I wondered if they
would have put a straight on/off instead of a momentary switch. Given
the location of the switch and the fact the lighting is via LEDs (not
fluorescent), it would have made little sense to put a switch that
leaves the panel lighting on. But with 3D World, one can never be
sure. I have corrected my description under this picture so there
will be no confusion.
