Has anyone ever tried to hang their Sputnik or 3D World camera upside
down to obtain a higher perspective? If so how did you set up the
tripod to do this?
Thanks,
Steve

I hang the tripod upside down from a tree branch then stand on a ladder.

I've handheld my Sputnik over my head a few times with surprisingly
good results. I have a bubble level mounted on my camera so that I
can make sure it is straight, and I can see if I'm holding it steady
my seeing if the bubble is bouncing around.

Another idea to get more height would be to mount the camera on a
monopod and then hold the monopod overhead. You would need a long
cable release.
