Unlike the classic 3-D cameras, today's equipment almost always uses batteries.  As such, I think that is a valid point of discussion on this forum, because if you are shooting in stereoscopic 3-D with today's cameras, sooner or later you will be using batteries.

In a variety of cameras and other equipment, I have found that Lithium batteries, when available in the right size, are worth the extra cost.  They may cost three or four times that of other types, but (depending on the type) can last up to eight times longer, and weigh less.   They are available in AA, AAA, 9 volt, button cell (sometimes called "watch" or "hearing aid" batteries) as well as a few odd configurations that sometimes fit some digital cameras.

IMOP, well worth looking for.

Hi

Keep stocked up with batteries and swap them over regularly.

I'm doing it every 10-15 rolls.

Batteries are cheap, film, processing and time isn't. Also you can stick them in a penlight as they won't be dead, just no longer optimal.
