Hello

Anyone have this develop on their scanners? Just did 3 in the mounts and they were all in the same place. Scanned at 1200 dpi.

Epson thinks its hardware issue.

Anyone else?

Hi Mark,

Sounds like it could indeed be a hardware issue. How wide/tall is the line (in pixels)? Have you tried scanning at higher resolutions, and does the line get progressively larger (in pixels)?

You might have better luck with solutions on one of the yahoo scanning groups. There's a group for Epson scanners, and another for Scan-High-End.

I'm wondering if you can fix it in Photoshop. Not the ideal, but it might do in a pinch. Can you post a detail of the problem?

Mark, Is "Kapor1" one of the scans you are refering to ?

Are you aware that you're posting them in "3DTV" ?

(or it's QUITE possible I'm missing something?)

about 1 or 2. I did try and picked the wrong slide as couldn't make out anything.

Its still under a year old so covered on warranty for free service. I'll do a couple on weekend and see if its still there. My feeling is that its a spec of dust thats now moved on.

Didn't know those existed - cheers.

I ditched the stereo scans, will upload 1/2 a shot so you can see it.

I am - I posted two for suggestions on how to get them onto a 1080p high def 3d screen without stretching.
