Where can I buy good 1.55V silver-oxide batteries for the TL-120 (i.e. Brand name, no look-alikes or knock-offs)? RadioShack has a couple dozen different choices for a 1.55 volt battery (all with different mAh values), so I don't know which one to get. Thanks.

here in the UK I buy them in bulk off ebay.

I will swap the batteries out after any major shoot. Been buying up pen lights for the small collection of semi-used ones to pass on as Xmas gifts.

Thanks all for the help with the batteries. My new TL-120 should be arriving soon and I just wanted to the ready when it gets here. :-)

Congratulations and enjoy! I love mine it's my favorite camera! I've never had an issue with batteries on mine.

Regarding battery life on the TL-120, I've had good luck, but there are a couple of caveats.

There are 2 buttons on the TL-120 that activate the exposure indicator. One is on the back of the camera, on the left, and the other is a half-press of the shutter. If you have something in your camera bag that's pressing on one of these, you can drain your batteries without knowing it.

The back button is safe in my camera bag, but my shutter isn't. I found a bottle cap from a hotel shampoo bottle that fits perfectly over my shutter and protects it in the bag.

yes when traveling and just dumped the TL120 in a chair I've been woken by a regular beeping. it was the cameras battery indicator.

took me awhile to figure it out tho.
