Subject: Question about mounting MF slides

A quick question from a newbie to medium format - I bought some plastic MF mounts that have a white stripe on one side. Is there any standard about which way this is to go ? White side up or down ? Towards the back of the projector, or the front of the screen ?

Can't imagine that there are so many MF slide projectors out there, but might as well start off on the right foot.

Thanks

I try to mount mine so the white, writable label, is above
the image and readable by the person as they load it into
their hand-viewer.

John,

Thanks for the quick reply and very clear instructions.

I've read a lot of your prior postings and always found them informative. For example I so liked your tip on acrylic plates for mounting that I'm including them in my jig-to-be. (Can't bring myself to pay so much for the basic 3D world one).

Thanks again,

Bill W
