Subject: Included adhesive in the 3D World mounts

I mount in paper _and_ plastic. But when I mount in 3D World
mounts, I use my own tape as I really hate trying to work
with those little bits of double-stick tape provided in the
mounts. Ick. I usually mount on the "hole" side of the mount
and ignore the tape on the "pin" side.

But today, while mounting an image on the "pin" side, I made
a wonderful discovery. The adhesive has totally dried out and
both the release paper and the adhesive-bit will lift right
off the mount! I can now flip those pesky bits off the mounts
before use.

The down-side for me is I now have the potential for the bits
of release paper slipping onto the images I've mounted over
the years as the adhesive dries out.

The down-side for those who have been _using_ the included
adhesive, is that their images may now be un-mounting
themselves. My mounts are probably four years old. Does
anyone else have mounts of this vintage who would check the
status of the adhesive?
