Can I have a virtual show of hands of MF3D folks who plan to attend the NSA convention in Colorado in a few weeks? I will be arriving Wednesday am and departing Tuesday am (after the Monday excursion). I will be bringing MF folio B with me (and handing it off to David K), and my lighted focusing 3D World viewer (the STL non-focusing ones do not work for me).

Are there plans yet for a SIG (special interest group) meeting and/or MF3D workshop(s)? -Linda

I'll be there. I'll be arriving Tuesday, and leaving Sunday
evening :)

If it arrives, I plan on having MF3D-FolioA with me.
I'm planning on bringing at least two lit 3D-World viewers
(one of these viewers will be my modified 60mm) as well as
my lit Saturn.

I have offered to host an MF3D SIG, but have suggested it be
done differently this year. To that end, I've actually
offered to host several SIGs (not workshops). I haven't yet
heard back in response to my offer.

The generic MF3D SIG would be an opportunity to gather,
recognize faces, and discuss technique, mods, developments,
exhibits, supplies etc. I'd like to talk about duping, and
several people asked in Ohio about my TL120-55. There might
be a little image sharing, but the folios would only be
circulated here if no one else had topics to discuss or
examples to share.

I'd then try to schedule at least two others which would be
specifically for sharing folios. My goal is to try to
increase the number of viewing opportunities while also
decreasing the number of people in a viewing circle. When
the circles in Ohio grew to 20+ people, they were just too
dang large to safely and meaningfully circulate our folio
images.

I will not be able to attend this year (again). Instead, I will be traveling in Europe, taking MF slides. I should really join a folio.

I would love to be there, but we are due for our 2nd boy that week. The tl-120 will be primed to take some pictures of him on his birthday!
Enjoy the conference!

I'll be there but will be a bit overextended (I'm giving a couple
workshops, plus I'll have pieces in the gallery and a show in the
theatre). I will have some show & tell equipment with me. I'm planning
to arrive Monday night and leave on the morning of the 18th. I'll be
driving from Seattle.

I'll have at least one focusing viewer with me. And I'll probably have
a slide or two to share. :^)

Very much looking forward to seeing everyone, and very sorry I'll miss
Timo and Nik.

cheers,
