I sent an email to A&I to confirm the information (from a StereoRealist group posting), and got the below in reply. So do plan to use your A&I mailers before that date. Fortunately Denver Digital and Dwaynes and a few others are hanging in there. For now. -Linda

ARGH!

I wrote back to Cindy who, on the 17th _of this week_, said
"Yes the mailers you have we still accept. A&I will Still
process E6."

She has now confirmed the end of service on Dec 23. She did
not explain the lack of notice on the web page. Maybe
they're hoping to quietly retire the service and leave
people holding mailers? It feels like pretty shabby customer
service from a company which has always delivered
outstanding film processing.

She also did say:
A) they have not struck any deals with any other processor
to accept their mailers

B) they will accept the E6 mailers as $9.49 credit towards
C41, B&W and printing

So here we are folks another big lab with excellent
processing is shutting down their E6 line. I'm sitting on
mailers I will not be able to use prior to Dec 23rd. You
know what they are worth now, and what they will be worth on
Dec 24th.

Does anyone want to make me an offer on my A&I E6 mailers?

Yes, I just got the clarification from Cindy also:

>A&I will

Not refund any mailers, our policy is you may use them
Towards c41 or B&w for process and print, you will
Have $9.49 per mailer as credit. When you send in your film
Also please send the mailers so you may receive the credit.
We do apologize for any inconvenience  this may have caused
You. thank you, feel free to email with any other questions,

Great :(

I am setting on 15 of those mailers and just got 3 rolls back from Denver Digital. Should have used
A&I mailers.
I hope Denver Digital doesn't shut down E6 because their business slows way down for the last part
of this year.

I just received 3 rolls of processed E-6 film back from A&I. Quality was very good. Turn around
was a week and 2 days. Same as usual. Interesting that they did not put anything in the package to
say that this service is ending soon.
