Does anyone have instructions for the 3D world focusing mounting jig, official or otherwise? Mine came without instructions or AC adapter. It appears that the battery compartment is probably behind some screws, which I haven't tried removing yet. -Linda

I don't recall either of the mounting jigs being battery
powered. I suspect that if you open that battery compartment
you will find only the LED illuminator board and a couple of
wires.

So did they come with the AC adapter? I thought I read somewhere in some specs that the jig used 3 AA batteries (as does the lighted viewer) but I might be mistaken. -Linda

I remember my mounting jig did have a battery holder, and that's how I powered it. I have since sold it (after making my Realist mounting jig convertible) so I can't go check.

My 3D world jig has both AC adaptor and battery power. If you swing the jig on its yoke, the wide door is visible on the bottom and slides out to reveal 3 AA slots. This is the one I got a few weeks back from Paul Tivy.
No adaptor though Radio Shack should have something that fits.
I'll take some shots

Here's a screen shot of the 3D World site (had to dig a bit)
showing the jig

Hi Linda
Does back look like this:
image.jpeg

Rocker switch has 3 positions. Off, || = battery ON , | = AC adaptor ON

If so then the compartment is accessed this way:

The first picture attachment did not come through for me but the second does. And the earlier link helped me find the battery compartment. Thanks. -Linda
