The original 3D Stereo mounts had openings which were 54mm by 54mm, so they were designed to accomodate an image height of at least 54mm.  Does anyone know what's the tallest image size the Saturn Slide viewer can accomodate?  I was thinking of making some homemade monts for 645 and was wondering how far I can go.

Thanks,

Steve

Looks like 56mm. You _might_ get away with 57mm, but I'm guessing the thickness of the wood might cast a shadow... Width is going to be 55mm I guess. (I'm measuring these with a steel tape measure and marks on a piece of paper. Too lazy on New Year's Eve to dig out more accurate measuring tools... :) )
