I put this up on eBay last night. Starting bid of $300. I assembled this viewer over 10 years ago. In addition to the normal required assembly, I lined the flat surfaces of the interior with black flock paper. I painted the non-flat surfaces with a flat black paint. I also used some of the flock paper to construct baffles along the side to prevent light from coming around the outer edges of the slide.
It's a great viewer, but I have one of Sam Smith's viewers that I use exclusively now. So, this one has become expendable.
I'm also selling a pair of 46X78 achromatic lenses. I bought these a while ago from Edmunds with the intention of building my own viewer. I dabbled with a couple of prototypes but never got around to finishing anything.
These are 46mm diameter by 78mm focal length lenses. These are the exact same lenses that fit in the SaturnSlide lens board that uses the round lenses (which most do by far) as opposed to the lens board that uses the rectangular 85mm focal length lenses.
I don't know what to sell them for, but I'll take offers. Edmunds does not sell these anymore. It looks like the closest they have is 50mm X 75mm for $122.50 apiece.
Thanks,
Ted
