Depends on what is "basic" to you. A cheap fold flat viewer like George sells,

http://www.ebay.ca/itm/NEW-Folding-stereo-viewer-12-stereoviews-/220518974083?pt=US_Vintage_Cameras&hash=item3357f48283

a cheap Holga viewer,

http://www.ebay.ca/itm/HOLGA-120-3DV-3D-Slide-Viewer-STEREO-PINHOLE-/251277450472?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item3a814d9ce8

or a top of the line Heydascope.

http://www.freewebs.com/larryeda/

As far as I know, there isn't anything else still being made.

B H Photo has Holga stereo mounts and low cost viewer.      See   bhphotovideo.com/.      These mounts are cheap in every sense of the word,  but  can  work well with a lot of  fidgiting.
These are the only mounts I have .   I am looking for other mount options.

I severely altered the viewer by cutting it in half and built a holder for a pair of acromatic Lenses  I bought on line.  I can send  pics  and My source for the lenses (I think) .

The last time I examined them, the apertures were spaced at
66mm. I don't see how any amount of fiddling or fettling
will let you set the window correctly. Can you explain how
these mounts are usable?

Yes, a STEAL THE LIGHT VIEWER for TL120 slides is definitely available. I have been making these for the last year, but have not advertised them until now. I just finished an order of 20 of these viewers for a museum client. You can see it here on Ebay at this URL:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/MEDIUM-FORMAT-STEREO-CAMERA-VIEWER-FOR-3DWORLD-TL120-SLIDES-/261717493761?

The viewer features two huge 50mm diameter 75mm FL precision achromats fixed in a solid high impact urethane case that has a 1/4" threaded mounting hole on the bottom for fixing to a stand. The translucent panel in the rear is far enough away from the slide so that any dust that might collect on it will not be in focus.

A number of expert 3D photographers who use this forum have raved about these lenses when I began selling the adjustable version last year. That adjustable viewer can be seen on my website www.freewebs.com/larryeda

Viewer is available in multiple colors. I am also selling an insert for both viewers that will accommodate vintage glass B&W slides. These will be on Ebay soon. Please write to me if you have any questions.

Kind regards,

Larry Heyda

good to know. I've passed the links onto the artist I am working with.

The stock Holga viewer has approximately 61 mm inter ocular,  resulting in window that doesn't quite match up.   I modified the viewer with new 35 mm achromatic lenses mounted in rubber grommets.   The rubber mount  allowed Me to angle the lenses outward a little to get the windows lined up.  It works pretty well, but it's not perfect.

What is your source for Medium Mounts???

> What is your source for Medium Mounts???

My source is my closet and garage.

When I bought my first Tl120-1, I also purchased a large box
of mounts. I'm still working through it. I still have a
couple boxes of RMM3D mounts I purchased when Paul was
selling them. I have a couple more boxes of RMM3D mounts I
bought from George when he closed out his remaining stock in
'08 (unless it was just a large consignment). I still have a
couple packages of 3D Stereo mounts I purchased when Dalia
was selling them.

I figure I have my needs met for now. If I ever _do_ run
short, I figure I can easily cull my older mounted images
for mounts. The 3D World mounts are especially desirable for
this since they will never wear out :)

If you have a modest request for mounts to meet a specific
need, you may contact me _off list_. You need to tell me
what you need (80x132 or 80x140, and aperture size) and how
many you need. I'll check inventory and let you know if I
can help (and what my help will cost).

That's an understatement! If the viewer (which I have never
seen) has lenses spaced at 61mm, and their mounts have
apertures (which I have seen and measured) spaced at 66mm,
viewing any images is gonna hurt.

Are the Holga mount apertures still spaced at 66mm?
