    Hi folks,

I guess its good to mention examples of stereoscopic photography in public venues, if only to show future generations that there were examples of photography that could not be found on Instagram.

I have 8 stereoscopic medium-format and 35mm images with viewers on display at the 2016 Venice Architecture Biennale. The images - of conceptual architectural models - are part of Mack Scogin Merrill Elam Architect's submission to the US pavilion exhibit, "The Architectural Imagination". The exhibit will run through the summer and then travel to Detroit.

I've attached an image of the viewers on display as well as one of the 8 stereoscopic images. (The stereo image was not scanned by me and cannot be viewed by cross or free viewing...sorry.)

    Best,

    Very interesting!

What kind of viewers are these?

Thanks for sharing, Peter. What's up with those viewers? Steal the light? Big lenses!

A couple of folks have asked about the viewers I used at the Biennale....
Medium format viewers are STL from Larry Heyda... - good viewers....
As for 35mm - I've had problems with these, so I've redesigned a viewer and am just starting to 3D print them...

    Best,
    Peter

I was able to freeview (Parallel) the stereo image, no problem.
I would also like to know what type of viewers you used for your display!
