I'm sorry to bug people with this; I'm sure it's all explained somewhere - but I did some searching in the groups and elsewhere and couldn't find this info; (I may have known this, but in old age, one forgets somethings)

is RMM3D still in business?

if not, why is the website still up (seems like it's dated back to 2008 or something)

if they are, they just don't have MF supplies (despite them still being on the website) - is that the situation?

Sorry to be blunt; I was just wondering; I seem to remember that the MF mounts were unavailable through them; which is fine - I'm just curious as to why the website is still up... (not that I'm complaining)

thanks for any info

Hi Vlad,

Paul Talbot, who owns RMM3D, has a condition that has sucked a lot of his energy and has doctors perplexed. My guess is that there is enough good info on the site that he doesn’t wish to pull the plug on it, that he doesn’t have the energy to revise it, and, since it isn’t being advertised anywhere, there are not many people who are likely to land on it and be fooled.

I agree that if you *do* land there it will give you false hope.

Paul is still around and those of us who are still active in the Brian Reynolds MF3D folio are lucky to see his beautiful images.

cheers,
Bob Venezia

Thanks for the information Bob!

I was friends with Paul until he disappeared. I had heard about his health problems and often wondered how he is doing. I am glad to hear that he is OK.

I understand the situation with the web site and you explained it well. At some point he was considering selling his company to someone else. I guess things did not work out. Given his lack of energy, it appears that his web site will remain as it is now, until he stops paying the bill for hosting.

Bob;

Thanks for explaining that; it makes sense now - I tried to figure out why it seemed like a 'zombie-site' - not current but still active; and this makes sense.

I don't know him but I hope Paul recovers, and that hopefully one day the site will also get refreshed...

I think there is some great info there; it's just the 'for sale' stuff that could be disappointing to potential buyers.

Thanks again for the explanation....
