Hi folks,
I would like to use some medium format cardboard mounts in viewers built to accept the wider 3D world plastic mounts.... Have any of you built some kind of adapter to use the narrower cardboard mounts in wider slot viewers? I'd be interested in the material you used and how you went about getting a good fit...The external dimensions of the cardboard mounts are (80 x 132mm) versus the (80 x 140mm) external dimension on the wider 3D world mounts.

Thanks,
Peter

I never had any problem using them in the hand-held viewers.  You just have to make sure they're centered.  For the sequential viewer, you can use tape on either side to build them up.

A'yep. And I made a few notes about it

In most cases, I just toss the 80x132 mount in the viewer
and hold it steady with my finger while I view it. When I
have an image I'd like to immerse myself in, I reach for the
adapter. Then I can settle back in my chair and know it will
stay focused.
