Subject: The future production of protective sleeves

I finally have my order of protective sleeves in hand! I've posted
details here on-list about how to order them from me.

I went to the same manufacturer I have used in the past because I was
very pleased with the product and the service. The product I have
received this week is up to the high standards I expected, but delivery
required four months (instead of the expected four weeks).

I expect this to be my last run of MF3D sleeves.

I don't look forward to chasing the manufacturer again in another few
years. I have enough sleeves on hand to cover all of the mounts I own. I
have enough mounts to hold all of the film I'm likely to expose and
process. I know the sleeves are valuable and important to the MF3D
community, but I'm gonna have to move on.

I "inherited" this project and recipe from Sam Smith when he reached a
similar stage. If (or when) my stock of sleeves for resale is depleted,
I will offer the same project and recipe to anyone who wants to accept it.

Until that day, look at your mounts in the closet, film in the freezer,
and the actuarial charts. Think about how many sleeves you'd like to
have on hand, and get your orders in to me. When these are gone, you'll
need to find a new supplier.
