Subject: Introducing myself & seeking some clear plastic sleeves

Hi everyone!

I just joined MF3D-group last week, and I got to meet several members of the group at the NSA convention.

I shot some slides years ago with a twin Mamiya rig, and got some nice results, but had not tried MF stereo since then.  (I used to shoot with several MF cameras for work, but never stereo.)

I bought a nicely-prepared Sputnik from Ted Baskin, and I'm excited about diving in again, particularly after seeing many of Boris & John's slides in their Heydascope viewers at the convention.  Now I need to sell something valuable so that I can order my own Heydascope!

I bought a good starter supply of cardboard mounts from Steve Berezin, but what I still need to find are some plastic sleeves for my finished slides.  They don't seem to be offered for sale anywhere.  Would anyone in this group be willing to sell me a few?  I guess I'd like to get about a hundred to start with, but any quantity would be appreciated.  I'd be willing to pay, say, a dollar apiece--though I'd be happy if someone could offer them for less.

Paul, it was nice meeting you at the convention.

The Heydascope is the way to go. Each is a work of art, and
a joy to use. I'm glad I took mine to Ohio. It saw a lot of
activity.

With regards to sleeves, I know in January I said, "I ain't
doing this any more." And even last week I said, "I ain't
doing that any more." But the number of folks asking for for
sleeves in the last month is making me feel a little
shameful. Why didn't I wanna do it again? 'cause it was a
little inconvenient for me? That seems a bit selfish.

Since Cleveland, I've been back in contact with my
manufacturer for updated pricing. I'm gonna see if I can get
another run made in a reasonable time frame. I should know
by early next week if it's gonna happen. If I commit to
having more made, I'll be happy to sell you some sleeves
from my personal hoard and later restock my hoard from the
new supply.
