In August of 2016, I asked y'all if you were interested in
sleeves. I had some made (it was slow and painful) and they
eventually shipped out in January, 2017. Two years have past
since that query and I'm asking again.

These are not the least expensive sleeves you will ever
find, but I don't think you will find a better product.
These are highly transparent, 3mil, seamless sleeves which
are suitable for use on 80x132 cardboard *as well as* 80x140
plastic mounts. These will be "seamless" sleeves identical
to those I offered in 2017, 2012, 2010, and Sam offered in
2007. If you would like a sample, please contact me OFF LIST
and I'll mail you a couple.

Manufacturing cost and postage have increased again. This
means the price will be a little higher than it was in 2017.

My _estimate_ is the final cost (after postage) will be
between $46/100 and $160/400. (For reference, the 2017
prices were $44/100 and $158/400)

Let's hear if you are interested. This is not a commitment
to purchase. I just would like to see a "show of hands".

John,

If you can have new sleeves made, I'd be happy to also buy 400.

Hi,
Last time I got 400 of these sleeves and they do not fit the Rocky Mountain
Memory MF Mounts I use.  They are way too tight.  I almost bent a slide trying
to jam in the sleeve.  I have the square mounts, portrait and landscape and
it's a bit too tight on all of them.  Can the sleeves be made slightly bigger?
By the time to slide the mount in the sleeve you must also accomodate for
the slide, the silver mylar tape I am using to seal the mount, etc.  It ain't
much, but it makes it a very tight fit.
Anyone else having this problem?
Cheers,
Philip Steinman

I like the sleeves snug. I want to be able to shuffle a box
of slides and not have them shift. With my very thinnest
mounts, I have experienced what you describe. In those
cases, I tip my slide on end, rest it on the table, and ease
the sleeve down onto the slide. That is: the sleeve is
moving downward while the mount remains stationary against
the table top.

Regarding size: I've already placed my manufacturing order
for new sleeves. They're gonna be identical to those I've
done in the past, but I'm happy to send you a couple of
samples from the new batch so you may see if they are any
larger.

Regarding resale: Feel free to sell on your excess
inventory. We've heard from a few people on-list who are
interested and may not want to wait for the new stock to
arrive. I won't be offended if you sell product that doesn't
meet your needs.
