My friends,

I have taken over the management of MF3D Folio II, previously managed by Brian Reynolds. Many thanks to Brian for his many years of service!

There are several openings in the folio. This is an incredible opportunity to see the work of other MF3D artists and to share your own!

It’s fantastic to get feedback on your images and gain insight from other stereo-photographers on how your images could be strengthened. My primary artistic medium is MF3D, and participating in the folios is the single most valuable part of this hobby for me. I have gained so much inspiration from the diverse range of photography that is represented in the folio. I’m always motivated to get out and take pictures of things I might have otherwise overlooked. The folio has contained portraiture, landscape, glamour, night-time, action, travel, architectural, and documentary photography, taken with twins, stereo cameras, cha-chas, and slide bars! There’s something for everyone!

This folio under my management will be called the Dragon folio (thanks to Boris for suggesting the name). The comments page will be held at John Thurston’s wordpress site, where the comments page for the other active MF3D folio (managed by John) is also located. You can also find the rules page there.

This folio is limited to the USA and Canada, but if you are in another country and would be interested in sharing MF3D slides, please don’t hesitate to reach out to me.

If you would like to join, simply let me know via email. Even if you are no longer actively shooting MF3D on a regular basis, if you have a backlog of slides that you would like to share, I would be happy to have you join. Newcomers to the hobby are of course welcome as well!

Best,

Ian Andvaag
