3D-con is coming up soon now. http://www.3d-con.com/
Can I get a show of hands as to who else from MF-3D group will be in attendance? And is anyone interested in leading the SIG (special interest group),  hopefully including equipment show and tell? And/or hosting MF viewing sessions, especially if any folios will be there?  I do plan to attend. Others?

Show of hands? Suggestions? Organizers are currently trying to finalize the schedule including SIGs etc.  -Linda

I'll be there - but I'm really not sure what MF stuff I can bring...

I may be attending. I think Jim Harp is bringing a 3D Folio.

Yes, the Dragon folio (aka MF3D Folio II) is en route to Jim right now. I will be updating the folio tracking page this evening.

I will indeed be bringing the Dragon Folio along with a Larry Heyda viewer and a big stack of my slides.

I’ll put my room # up on the room-hopping list - as in years past it will be a combination Medium Format viewing station and Virtual-Reality playhouse.

Great!

Is anyone here willing to lead the MF3D SIG (special interest group) meeting? It generally includes equipment show-and-tell and discussion as well as some MF slide viewing. It is currently scheduled for Friday at 11 am.

I can bring a few lighted viewers and some slides, and possibly camera(s) if others are not bringing them. -Linda

I can’t commit to leading the group as I am not 100% sure I’m attending. Will this be a group aimed at interested beginners? Maybe people who are shooting 35mm and want to make the move to MF?

I hope you can make it.

The MF SIG meeting usually includes active users as well as folks who have seen or heard about the format and are considering trying it. It is helpful to have some shooting equipment for show and tell / discussion, as well as MF slides and viewers .

As I mentioned, I will be bringing a few lighted viewers and some of my slides, and at least one folio should be there. Anyone else willing to bring slides/equipment and/or able to lead or co-lead the meeting? I will probably be driving so could bring cameras as well if they will not otherwise be represented.  -Linda
