I was sent a sample of a metal mount from Europe, but it was not a glass filled mount.
I have a few sections of glass suitable for use in mounting. I had figured i would wrap the edges with tape if i ever got around to using them. I have trouble seeing how they could be turned into something spiffy looking.

I think the 3d world mounts can look pretty spiffy and would have no trouble selling work in them. The black cardboard can look really nice, too if the edges are secured. I used to use glue for this, but now find that i prefer doublestick tape. I only fully seal a few of my images. For personal and folio use, I commonly just tuck them in sleeves and call 'em good.
I'd be more concerned about what viewer the collector wanted to use. Or maybe they aren't going to view them? Only collect them? Putting them in 80x140mounts when the customer has only an 80x132 viewer would be a dirty trick!

Well...I remember being in MF marketing threads here last year.

I think the beginning collector should have a Stereo World viewer offered with the pricier slides. Or be offered a hand-craftsy, custom made one, if one is suitably handy and crafty enough. :-)
